NCR Global Network Receives NAR Platinum Achievement Award

The NC REALTORS® Global Network, an initiative of the NCR Economic Development Committee, has been awarded the 2018 NAR Platinum Achievement Award! The Platinum Achievement Award is presented to REALTOR® associations that provide the highest level of global services to its members by consistently providing them with the tools they need to handle international real estate and connect with the global community in the area.

Under the guidance of the Economic Development Committee’s Global Chair, Tony Harrington, NC REALTORS® entered the global real estate environment with a bang by sending a delegation to the 2018 MIPIM International Conference in Cannes, France. This delegation met with international investors and organizations interested in finding properties and locations for their growing businesses. The delegation continued on to Vienna, Austria, to meet with the leadership of the Austrian Real Estate Association (OVI) and build ties between our real estate communities.

NC REALTORS® also hosted the first CE course for the Certified International Property Specialist (CIPS) designation in Wilmington, NC. NC REALTORS® new cohort of CIPS designees will proudly represent North Carolina in the international real estate marketplace using the globally-recognized CIPS designation as their calling card.

Look out for opportunities to engage with the Global Network in 2019 – NC REALTORS® is working on expanding opportunities for REALTORS® to engage with foreign investors and real estate agents at home and abroad.
