Last week, from June 2-5, NC REALTORS® from across the state gathered in Raleigh for the 2024 NC REALTORS® Legislative Meetings. The event was packed with engaging committee sessions, impactful conversations with North Carolina lawmakers, and lively receptions with fellow REALTORS®.

The event kicked off with a series of committee meetings, where members discussed pressing issues affecting the real estate industry in North Carolina. These sessions provided an opportunity for REALTORS® to collaborate, share insights, and strategize on how to best advocate for their priorities at the General Assembly.

One of the highlights of the week was the direct engagement with state lawmakers. REALTORS® had the chance to meet with legislators, discuss key policy issues, and make their voices heard on matters that directly impact their businesses and communities. These vital conversations underscored the importance of REALTOR® advocacy in shaping the future of real estate in North Carolina.

Attendees also enjoyed a reception at the North Carolina Museum of History, where they networked with peers, reconnected with old friends, and forged new relationships. These social gatherings were a testament to the strong sense of community within NC REALTORS®.
