Thank you to the more than 600 REALTORS® who joined us in Raleigh for last week’s Legislative Meetings—including 215 first-time attendees! Your energy, insights, and advocacy helped make this one of our most impactful events yet.

One of the standout moments was the State of Real Estate, where we heard directly from top decision-makers, including Governor Josh Stein, Senate President Pro Tempore Phil Berger, Senate Democratic Leader Sydney Batch, House Speaker Destin Hall, and House Democratic Leader Robert Reives.

Members also participated in legislative visits at the General Assembly, putting our issues—and your stories—front and center with decision-makers.

At the Board of Directors meeting, members voted to:

• Approve Wilmington as the host city for the 2026 NC REALTORS® Convention
• Move forward with the next phase of the “Our REALTORS® Know” consumer campaign
• Amend the association’s bylaws to streamline the process for adopting mandated NAR changes
