Join Stephanie Walker, an expert on the Code of Ethics and professional standards matters, in a one day (9:00am to 4:00 pm) long seminar covering the Code of Ethics and processes to enforce the Code.
About the Class: This class will cover the foundation of the Professional Standards process and the latest changes to the Code of Ethics. The class will provide advanced training on how to write a quality Findings of Fact and high-level training for Hearing Panel Chairpersons.
Who Should Attend? Anyone and everyone! While the Professional Standards Training has traditionally been aimed at members of local REALTOR® board/association BODs and Grievance and Professional Standards Committees, the class also fulfills the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) ethics training requirement.
This class provides the following credit: 4 Hours of CE & NAR’s Code of Ethics training

Stephanie has been in the real estate business for more than 3 decades. Stephanie holds a number of NAR Designations and is trained in both REALTOR® and Superior Court Mediation. She is a past President of both the Outer Banks Association of REALTORS® and the North Carolina Association of REALTORS®. In 2016, Stephanie was honored as the NC REALTORS® REALTOR® of the Year.
Her experiences, both in the field and volunteering at all levels of the REALTOR® association, give her plenty of real life, in the trenches stories to supplement her courses with actual scenarios that bring relevance, substance, and humor to attendees.
Cancellations: Cancellations may be processed online and will be accepted up to one (1) business day preceding each course. Course registration less a cancellation fee may apply. Refunds will not be granted to no-shows or last minute cancellations.
To cancel a class: Login to the NC REALTORS® website. Find your class under “Upcoming Events” on the Member Dashboard or by locating the class you want to cancel on the NC REALTORS® calendar. Under registration details, you will see an option to “Cancel”. On the following page, select “Submit Cancellation”.
NCR reserves the right to cancel/change any course at any time. If a course is canceled, you will be notified as soon as possible. You will receive either a full refund or, if rescheduled, you may transfer to the new date. NCR is not responsible for any out-of-pocket expenses (lodging, airfare, etc.) you may incur when a course is canceled or rescheduled.
