March sales began a seasonal increase over February but were still lower than March 2022. While this may indicate weakening demand, overall demand for housing in NC still far exceeds supply. That’s why median prices rose. Regarding supply, more listings came on as we approach the spring selling season but not as many as last year. While the month’s supply of inventory increased, it is still in the seller’s market territory.
