NC REALTORS® statement regarding Toyota-Mazda decision

Raleigh, North Carolina (January 10, 2018) – NC REALTORS® 2018 President Amy Hedgecock offers the following statement regarding the decision by the Toyota-Mazda partnership to locate a production facility in Alabama.

While NC REALTORS® joins all North Carolinians in expressing our disappointment in the decision by Toyota-Mazda to locate their facility in Alabama, we also applaud the effort by state and local leaders throughout the recruitment process. Though the location of this facility would have been transformative for many areas of our state, we remain confident future opportunities remain on the horizon. NC REALTORS®’ more than 42,000 members across the state are committed to assisting future efforts.
