NC REALTORS® Welcomes Several New Hires

Greensboro, North Carolina (Aug 15, 2017) — NC REALTORS® announces the hiring of seven new staff members, spanning marketing, events, education, and government affairs disciplines. The latest hires bring the total staff to 34 between the Greensboro and Raleigh offices.

New personnel include:

  • Dakota Cary, state grassroots coordinator, Raleigh
  • Jordan Forrest, political fundraising coordinator, Raleigh
  • Lauren Angel, education assistant, Greensboro
  • Maurice Brown, partner program coordinator, Greensboro
  • Sarah Small, meeting planning coordinator, Greensboro
  • Raquel Stubblefield, graphic design coordinator, Greensboro
  • Clyde Harrison Lovelady, content marketing intern, Greensboro

 

Cary comes to NC REALTORS® from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington and was previously the vice president of government relations for the UNC Association of Student Governments. He has extensive campaign management experience throughout the state and has worked with the Parker-Whittaker administration to advocate for the UNC system on both the state and federal legislative levels. Cary holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a Minor in Campaign Management.

Forrest has worked extensively with the Pat McCrory Committee, working to raise and manage funds towards the Legal Defense Fund within the Finance Team and most recently served as finance director. She will apply her experience to raising funds for NC REALTORS® PAC. Forrest graduated from Chapel Hill with a double major in political science and communications.

Angel brings extensive education experience as a Kindergarten teacher for Guilford County Schools to the education department at NC REALTORS®. She also has experience in real estate, where she previously worked as a permit coordinator for Wade Jurney Homes in Greensboro. Angel received her Bachelor’s degree in Science in Elementary Education (K-6) with an Academic Concentration in Interdisciplinary Arts from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.

Brown has worked in several managerial positions over his career, ranging from district manager to field supervisor and central operations distribution manager in aircraft repair, logistics, and sales. He holds two MBAs – in Management and Accounting and Finance – from North Carolina A&T University and AIU.

Small received her Bachelor of Science in Business, with a concentration in Hospitality Tourism Management, from Western Carolina University and has extensive experience in the management of guest meetings and conventions in the hotel industry. Previously, she was an event planner for the Grandover Resort.

Stubblefield joins the NC REALTORS® Communications and Marketing team with experience as a graphic designer in several organizations, including the Office for Equity and Diversity at East Carolina University and Eye Integrated Communications. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design from East Carolina University.

Lovelady has experience in writing, editing and marketing as a freelance copywriter and entrepreneur. He will be producing and editing engaging content for the NC REALTORS® Communications & Marketing Department through fall 2017. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in English from the University of North Carolina – Greensboro.
